International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate women’s power. The tech industry has traditionally been a male-dominated field, but women in tech are breaking barriers and making significant contributions to the industry. Ability to understand men jokes :), leadership skills and good self-perception.
Tech companies consist mostly of men. In my opinion, if you want to be valued, you need to learn how to work together with everyone.
“Thinking outside of the box” – this sentence is something that helps me to challenge myself and learn new things at work.
Always learn new things and move forward, this is the key to succeed.
Confidence, flexibility, collaboration.
A woman should be confident in herself everywhere and all the time. Confidence makes you a positive contributor, increases your productivity and performance and shows others the value you add. Being flexible is an important quality that gives you the ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic field, such as IT sector and when you work together with a lot other people. Additionally, this can help you collaborate more effectively with team members by being open to their ideas which leads to a more successful teamwork. Being a team-player is a quality that everyone would like their colleagues to have. Collaboration usually helps the whole team to solve problems better & quicker and achieve common goals. We grow together and learn from each other.
To know that I’m part of a very cool team and to know that I contribute to that team with all my skills and knowledge.

Self-confidence, Collaborative and Desire to learn new things.
◦ Self-Confidence – One of the main qualities a woman in the tech industry should have is confidence and resilience to succeed in this male-dominated industry. I have seen women who are afraid to speak up because they might say the “wrong” thing. Doing that they are only missing out on opportunities. If you want to be successful you need to be confident enough to be wrong, say things not everyone agrees with and believe in yourself.
◦ Collaborative – Being collaborative does not only include to work with others in order to complete a project, but it is also much more. To collaborate well you need to understand that each person brings unique skills to the table. Workplace collaborations mean you are building connections with your teammates so that in the future you will be able to resolve difficult situations together.
◦ Desire to learn – Technology changes daily, so if you want to be one step ahead of everyone you need to push yourself and learn new things. Everybody has weaknesses so it’s important to learn more about the areas that you might not be so confident in. Doing courses and trainings in your free time will help you to improve your skills.
What motivates me the most is seeing myself develop and grow more and more each day.
Keep your head higher and your eyes wider on your ultimate goals. Believe in yourself because good things are coming your way.
Personally I don’t think there are any specific qualities that are important only to women in tech companies, but rather there are essential qualities that are looked for in every person. It is difficult for me to summarize only three, but if I had to I would choose the following as the most important ones: integrity, persistence and team work.
Integrity – Being sincere, honest, straightforward, and transparent are just some of the crucial attributes we look for in a true professional. In my experience, being persistent and managing to remain productive in a hectic environment are true signs of a real professional. Obviously, loving what you do is a real benefit, and makes a challenging and intense work environment a lot easier to cope with, but it’s also critical that the person continues to develop himself and learn – I find this to be crucial for motivation. And last but not least – team work and collaboration is always a must!
I really love my job and am extremely lucky to have found a place that matches my point of view on culture, work ethic and professional relations. The trust and freedom that is bestowed upon each team member of the team and the overall atmosphere in the company is truly amazing and really helps in keeping everyone’s motivation high, even when dealing with difficult situations . Each of us has the freedom to share ideas and to contribute.
To be more proactive, confident, and with some luck, to try and find good mentors. I was incredibly fortunate in the early years of my career and found incredible mentors, who turned me into the person and professional I am today. Having a good mentor, and being surrounded by a talented and supportive team is one of the greatest benefits a young person can ask for.
Sense of humor, Flexibility, Patience
Sense of humor is not a must have quality, it just allows you to live easier when you don’t understand the difference between functional and class components. Flexibility is a quality you need to have when you must persuade your colleagues that the perfect new fit for the team will be a fullstack developer, with frontend focus and DevOps experience. Patience – Just keep calm and let the engineers develop amazing software solutions to problems you hadn’t even realized you had.
My motivation are my colleagues and the understanding that in this industry you are learning every day and the process is endless.

Persistence, Flexibility and Team Work.
It is important to be persistent, as it takes time and effort to become good at what you are doing. You will have a lot of challenges and achievements, part of your professional journey – learn how to be flexible. Of course, it is crucial to learn and collaborate with the rest of the people, while having fun.
One of the most important things for me is to work at a company where I feel valued. In fact, Droxic gave me the chance to develop my full potential. Combined with the freedom that I have is definitely what inspires me every day.
Be patient and never give up. You will learn to develop your skills and become better at what you are doing.
