In the first week of June, our eCommerce Director, Joost Scholte, embarked on a truly unforgettable journey. Joost had the incredible chance to take part in the Ecommerce Agency Summit held in Toronto.
During his business trip to Toronto, Joost was lucky to connect with various agencies, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment where everyone worked and learned from one another. The summit includes a series of fantastic presentations and talks, but one that stood out was Erin McElvenny’s inspiring life story on mental resilience and its universal importance. Additionally, Marcel Petitpas, the founder of Parakeeto, shared invaluable and innovative tips on how to enhance profitability.
Moreover, the event shed light on the future directions and challenges that companies, agencies, and individuals are about to face in the coming years, along with potential solutions. A special acknowledgment goes to Rachel for orchestrating such a successful event. We eagerly anticipate attending next year’s gatherings in Austin and Valencia.
Moving on to London Tech Week and AI Summit, held from June 12th to 16th in London, our UK Biz Dev Director, George Georgiev, and Head of Marketing, Hristina Dimitrova, had an amazing time representing our company at these prestigious events. Joining the BBBA delegation was a great opportunity for our team. The Business breakfast organized by BBBA and Themes Valley Chamber of Commerce proved particularly insightful, offering valuable knowledge about the Reading region and its impressive development. The AI Summit exposed us to fantastic products and services, showcasing the rapid advancements in this segment of the technology sector. Furthermore, meeting up with our UK clients and catching up was an amazing experience.
But wait, who said business events can’t be fun? On June 15th, our DACH Territory Director, Armin Philippen, attended the Bavarian Night hosted by AHK Bulgarien (German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce). This special occasion commemorated the 20th anniversary of the Free State of Bavaria representative office in Bulgaria at the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DBIHK). Armin had an absolute blast, enjoying the festivities and reconnecting with both current and old friends.
