It’s a wrap! Our Droxic 2022.

In the middle of 2022, Droxic got an award for successful development in international markets during the B2B Media Awards 2022. The event aimed to distinguish the best companies in different business areas in Bulgaria and it was a pleasure for Droxic to be part of it.

What’s more – in July we had one of the biggest business TV media at the office. Droxic was part of a TV show – “Returnees”. Our Head of Marketing, Hristina, told us about her experience abroad and her way back home. Also, she shared about her decision to join the Droxic family. You can enjoy the full interview here.

To sum up, 2022 was very eventful for us. With offline events returning to normal slowly, Droxic had the chance to meet many new people and establish connections.

In March 2022, we joined Hack AUBG 2022 and organised a giveaway. The event took place in Blagoevgrad and it was a great pleasure for us to take so many pictures with our Instagram photo booth. Later in the year, we invited one of the hackathon winners into the office and they had the chance to speak to us about our projects and be part of the team for half a day. The students actually enjoyed it a lot.

The next event we attended was the TUES Fest 2022. We had the chance to meet so many ambitious аnd young talents in April @ Sofia Tech Park.

After the summer we also started organizing our own offline #Droxic series. This year, we had 2 events with our lovely iOS Developer, Dani Rangelov, who told us more about electric cars and Wi-Fi connection. In case you missed them – you can catch up on our YouTube channel.

Droxic also attended one more event in November – JS Talks 2022. It was another brilliant event for our HR team and we also gave the chance to meet and get to know a lot of JavaScript professionals.

To end the year properly, Droxic participated in an employer branding conference – Competing for Talents 2022. The event was organized by B2B media and our team presented about Droxic Academy and the labour market.

Throughout the year, our Business Development Team attended several events across Europe.

In June 2022, Armin Philippen went to one of the business festivals for digital movers and makers – Hub. Berlin.

In September, Joost Scholte, attended a wonderful technology fest in Amsterdam – Techspo. A little bit later in the month, Armin and George Georgiev also took part in several events. George was at eCommerce Expo and Technology for Marketing in London. At the same time, Armin took part in one of Europe’s leading founders’ festivals, Bits & Pretzels in Munich, Germany.

To finish the year, Joost attended 2 more events – one in October and one in November. Both the Web Summit and Slush were full of experts in various areas, which gave a lot of great networking opportunities.

We also had a lot of fun at our Droxic Nis office’s third birthday earlier in the year. Enjoy with us and watch our video.

Moreover, later in the year, our Droxic Nis office had a party for Halloween. It was great with many funny pictures, you can enjoy some of them here.

Last but not least, this year we decided to participate in a charity initiative instead of sending away presents to clients and partners. You have probably seen the pictures on our social media channels and on our blog – we became part of Operation “Teddy bear” for the first, but not the last time.
