About the event

Conferences and events are a great way to network with link-minded professionals, expand your knowledge about the latest trends, learning from the best industry experts.

In this blog post, we look at some of the key takeaways that our .NET Team Lead, Kiril Krivoshiev, & .NET Sitecore Developer, Ljubisa Aleksandrov, got from SUGCON, which took place in Malaga (Spain) at the end of the previous month.

The Sitecore User Group Conference (SUGCON) brought together Sitecore enthusiasts from around the world to share their knowledge and insights about the platform. Our Droxic developers, Kiril and Ljubisa, had the opportunity to attend some really fascinating sessions to learn more about the new Sitecore products and to gain a more complete understanding of the changes taking place in the Sitecore community.

Our Droxic team made an effort to attend as many classes as we could about the new Sitecore Search and Sitecore Experience Manager Cloud (XM Cloud), which were the subjects of our primary interest.

А presentation by Sebastian Winter on building components in XM Could was оne of the most intriguing talks. It was titled “Sitecore Components in Action.”. Additionally, the really entertaining and helpful session, which was presented by Klaus Petersen and Pushpaganan Nagarajan, mainly discussed the evolution of Sitecore and contrasted its previous and current implementations.

Furthermore, one of the key takeaways is that Sitecore is evolving and is now more than just a content management system. It may now interact with other systems and offer a variety of features, including marketing automation and commerce. Also, personalization is more important and crucial to delivering a seamless consumer experience. The speakers at the event gave instances of how personalization has improved engagement and conversion rates.

Kiril was one of our Droxic developers, who attended practically all of the Sitecore SUGCONs in Europe and one in the United States. This year we learned a lot and had the chance to reconnect with several community members with whom we work or have previously collaborated.

Overall, SUGCON was a great success, with attendees coming away with new insights and ideas for how to optimize their Sitecore implementations. As Sitecore continues to evolve and expand its capabilities, it is clear that the platform is well-positioned to help businesses deliver personalized experiences at scale.
